SUPRALIVE, THE FIRST INDIVIDUAL LISTENING SOLUTION FOR NORMAL AND HARD OF HEARING PEOPLE
With SupraLive, we want to offer a solution that is relevant to music lovers, fans, users of earplugs, but also to people with hearing loss.
Because of their disability, people with hearing loss are not or no longer able to distinguish and analyse all the sound information that reaches them, especially in a noisy environment.
The perception of music in concert can therefore be particularly impaired because its auditory and cerebral processing must take into account important dynamics and spectra of instruments that are very different from each other, and also very different from speech.
Today, accessibility for the hearing impaired in theatres is mainly achieved through magnetic induction loops (MIF) or other individual loop solutions in HF or infrared that amplify the volume to better perceive speech, but which are not optimised for listening to live music.
To be effective, however, music sound processing should take into account both the variability :
intra-musical by adapting treatments to the instruments
intra-individual hearing ability by adapting the treatments to the subject's hearing
subjective aesthetic inter-subject by adapting the treatments to the audience's listening pleasure
Particularly adapted for listening to music for the hearing impaired, SupraLive integrates a personalised correction for each spectator according to his or her own hearing problems with a treatment per track depending on the instrument and his or her hearing profile.
